We are a small, mainly family run pub. Maurice (the landlord) used to be a lorry driver and can always come up with a story. Wendy (landlady) doesn’t very often get out of the kitchen but when she does she can be seen pulling pints or folding napkins.
Lisa (Wendy’s daughter) helps out in the bar and kitchen when she is not at her day job! There is always much laughter when Lisa is around.
Badger, the part-time pub dog. When his owner is in Thailand basking in the sun, Badger can be found keeping the customers under control. He is always there at coffee time—every time he hears a coffee being poured he supervises—just in case you drop a biscuit!! |
